Otakon 2000 Conpics
Otakon 2000: Endless Duo
Otakon just keeps on getting better and better! Some people might say that
Duo Maxwell was the most overdone costume at Otakon 2000,
but you won't be hearing any complaints
from me, and I *was* one of the Duos. But I missed all the showings of
Gundam W and Gundam W: Endless Waltz! Gyyaaaahhh!!!!
Anyways, as always, it's great to see my fellow heathens from
(#)CAML, COSP, ORGYcon, ZQL, ARPG, etc. I especially want to give shout-outs to:
•Allen (I blame YOU for my crackrabbit dreams! =)
•Both (#)CAML Scotts (for helpin' me out and offering a place to
stay that fateful Thursday night)
•Danny (even though your cell phone sucks ;)
•Doc-Chu (you'd better appreciate what I did to your photo,
shyguy--ooh, Super Mario Bros. 2 flashback)
•Donnie and the "Donnie Suite" crew (Vib Ribbon is total headCRACK!)

•Kevin Lillard (You mentioned in your Sunday summation
report of Otakon that you were asked
to tell someone her friend was looking for her. That was my mom looking for me, thanks to my
flight being delayed, and we both want to thank you for how you helped out by passing
the word along! =^-^= )

•Mike (Star Search!) & Kris (Hooters holds such fond memories *sniff*)

My only two costumes at Otakon 2000 were Duette Maxwell and DJ Lady Heat Version 2, both of which made their debut there. What happened to my trademark Linka of Hyrule, not to mention Bulleta Hood and Lilimon? Linka's cap was torn at the seams, Bulleta Hood was too hot for the weather, and Lilimon wasn't finished in time. Oh, well, there's always next con. I used up seven rolls of 24-exposure film at this convention. The joke was cracked several times that I was "pulling a Lillard"--snapping photos of everything randomly like Fansview's Kevin Lillard--to use up all my film. The many photos that turned out are all here, but first:
The pictures at the above link were on a 24-exposure roll of Kodak 400
film that was found at the Otakon rave Saturday night and given to me.
When the pictures were developed it was apparent that this wasn't my
film. I've been told since then that this film seems to be a roll of Tim Daile's.
